I just watched a documentary showing a lady who wasted up to 14 hours per day playing Second Life. My first thought was: imagine if she had spent just a fifth of that time writing blogs and sharing her life - and then economised the rest for taking proper care of her family...
She could have turned her hobby into online income straight away. With such dedication and focus, she could easily have settled for using only a couple of hours per day, and still have had a lot more energy for both her kids and her husband.
